Nordic Regulation of Osteopathy

Aligned with the Nordic Region’s vision for 2030, the NOA is committed to creating a sustainable and unified osteopathic profession across the Nordic countries. Our ambition is to achieve common regulation for osteopaths throughout the region, focusing on ensuring that osteopathy is recognized as a regulated healthcare profession in all Nordic countries, including Sweden.

NOA is steadfast in its mission to achieve common regulation for osteopathy across the Nordic countries. With osteopathy now regulated in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and hopefully soon in Sweden, our efforts aim to ensure that osteopaths can practice across borders without limitations, upholding high standards of care and patient safety.

As the NOA leaders, we are proud of the progress made and committed to further strengthening the osteopathic profession throughout the Nordic region. Our dedication and efforts aim at a future where osteopathy is recognised and acknowledged as an integral part of the established healthcare systems in all Nordic countries.
